Quality indicators

In order to ensure the sustainable and balanced development of electrical networks in line with the European average, Sadales tīkls AS constantly carries out significant power supply investment projects throughout Latvia, performs power line maintenance and route clearing works, thus raising the power supply safety and quality for residents and businesses. We are continuously improving the company’s work processes, raising professional competence, organising training for our employees and qualified construction workers.

Every year, the power supply quality indicators improve, which affects every resident of Latvia. Sadales tīkls has reduced the average duration of power supply interruptions per customer from 466 minutes in 2014 to 266 minutes in 2023, while the average number of power supply interruptions per customer per year has decreased from 3.7 times in 2014 to 2.7 times in 2023. At the same time, in recent years, there has been a slight increase in these indicators, which is associated with occasionally extreme and unpredictable weather conditions (e.g., large hail, heavy snow, floods), causing damage that is difficult to fix and increasing the overall power restoration time.
