System for Conformity Assessment of Materials

Sadales tīkls is implementing the System for Conformity Pre-Assessment of Materials in order to ensure the use of sustainable, unified, uniform and high-quality goods and materials for the renovation, construction and repairs of electricity networks.

The list of the technical specifications of the Materials included in the System for Conformity Pre-Assessment of Materials and the Register of Materials with materials which may be used in the electricity network of Sadales tīkls AS and the quality and suitability of which for the electricity network renovation works has been checked in advance is published in the section Procurements (avaliable in Latvian) on this website.

Participation in the selection procedure for the conformity assessment of Materials and their inclusion in the Register of Materials is ensured on equal and fair terms among the manufacturers of Materials and/or their suppliers or distributors (a natural person or a legal entity, or an association of such persons) who seek to include the Materials manufactured or distributed by them in the Register of Materials which meet the requirements of Sadales tīkls.

Any Supplier may, at any time, submit the Materials in accordance with the procedure set out in the Regulations on the System for Conformity Assessment of Materials for their conformity assessment.

Applications may be submitted only for those materials the technical specifications of which are published in the sub-section List of Technical Specifications.

The principles of the functioning of the System for Conformity Pre-Assessment of Materials, including the procedure for submission of applications, conformity assessment of materials and inclusion of materials into the Register of Materials and their exclusion from the Register of Materials, is set forth in Sadales tīkls Regulations on the System for Conformity Assessment of Materials.
